Fashion Picks: Leather Bracelet Wrap

Hello guys. 🙂 I’m apologizing for being inactive the past week. I was sick, I had menstrual cramps and a supernatural phenomenon which I’m not going to elaborate because of certain reasons. I thank God for saving me from that painful thing. Don’t worry guys, I’m okay now. I’m already here in Iloilo, at our home. Vacation is over. Hehehe.

The bracelet I have shown above is a faux leather bracelet wrap with a ginormous blue bead. It’s pretty cheap piece, only Php 30 but it was originally Php 60. I bought this from Shop and Match, located at Iloilo City. An hour away from our town. The store wholesale accessories of different styles and kinds in affordable prices.

I picked up this particular color because it looks a bohemian piece which I can wear with any outfit. Wearing this bracelet makes your get up polished and neutralized. The item is also available in the colors black and white but I picked up this one because of its earthy look, plus blue and brown are my favorite color. I’m a sucker for anything neutral.

Did you like the bracelet?

Would wear something like this?

Let me know through commenting on this post. Comments really enlighten me. 🙂

That’s it for now. Please don’t forget to enter my first giveaway. Talk to you soon. Have a nice day. Bye. 🙂

Fashion Picks: Tibetan Inspired Bracelet

Accessories are my ultimate favorite things in the world. I always buy the most uncommon and unique pieces. Today, I will be starting a new blog post series called “Fashion Picks” which features my most favorite items from my jewelry stash.

The bracelet shown above is an inspired Tibetan jewelry which I bought last year in a boutique named Ingmar. It’s located at Mary Mart Mall in Iloilo City. I always buy there because they have the cutest stuffs and affordable prices. Would believe that this piece is only Php 39?

I love this bracelet because it goes  with any outfit that I wear, from casual to formal. I also adore the sky blue bead on the center. ❤ Unfortunately, the beads are plastic and the coating peels off. I know this item will not last long but I will try my best to take care of it.

Me wearing the bracelet with a plain shirt and a pair of pants. 🙂

What do you think of the bracelet? Would you wear something like this? Let me know on the comments area. Have a nice. Bye. 🙂

November 2011 Favorites + Small Haul

Hello there! I am apologizing for not posting this past month. As I have said before, I am busy with school and practicum. Today, I got the chance to post a blog so here I am.

Today, I will be posting about my November Favorites. There some products which I will not be including because they were mentioned in my August Favorites. I don’t want to be repetitive as much as possible. Click here to see the blog post. These products are still my favorites.

I will not be saying much about the products that I will be showing you since I don’t want to tire you with a long post. If you want a in-depth review with a certain product, please comment below. I will be starting with skincare.

1. Hortaleza, M.D. Acnesol Pimple Control 60mL

This is amazing for drying out pimples. It’s a life saver! Love it so much! This is actually my second bottle. I recommend this to everyone.

2. Revlon CustomeEyes Shadow & Liner (Naturally Glamorous)

This palette is great for everyday. It’s a like a mini dupe for the Naked Palette. The shadows are blendable and easy to work with. I checked the ingredients and I found out that this product is safe. It does not contain parabens.

3. elf   Studio Blush (Tickled Pink)

This blush is really sheer and I think that it won’t show up on medium to dark skin tones. I do like it because it gives a healthy natural pinkish glow. It’s not pigmented and it has micro glitters.

4. wet n wild ColorIcon Eyeshadow Single (Nutty)

This is one of the best eye shadows I own and I think it’s really unique. This is the only taupe eyeshadow I own but I am in love with it. This can be worn all-over the lid or just on the crease. I absolutely recommend this shadow!

5. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick (Rosedew)

I am really sorry for the bad lighting. This not a dark-colored lipstick. It’s more of a pink-coral-mango shade with gold glitters in a pearlish-frosted finish. It’s good for work. I recommend it.

6. Shirley May Love More Eau de Toilette Spray

OMG. This fragrance smells so good! It’s a mixture of citrus scent and sophistication. I cannot describe the scent, please forgive me. It’s something that you would wear on a dinner date.

7. lipice Lip Balm (Grape Blackcurrant)

Ummm.. It’s methol lip balm with a fruity scent. It’s effective for cracked lips. It’s amazing!

Those are my favorites. I hope you try some of them. Yesterday and today I was at Robinson’s mall. Last night, I bought a pair of shoes for my practicum. It’s a cute shoes with cute heels. I got this pair of shoes for Php 699.75 at the Department Store.

Today, I went back to the mall after my duty. While I was searching for a cute pair of earrings, I saw this and immediately fell in love with it. I decided to buys it because it is simply gorgeous and besides, I don’t have this type of earrings and it has blue accent. Blue is one of my favorite colors. I got this for Php 99.

So, that’s all guys. I hope you like the items that I bought. My next post will be about how I hang my scarves. Rating, liking and commenting is deeply appreciated. August 2011 Favorites! Skincare & Hair Products (Part 1)

Hello everyone! My August Favorites is here! Yay! I’m really excited to post this because I have a lot of new products to show you. This time, I’ll skincare products. I’m happy because finally, I can share skincare stuffs. Anyways, I’m gonna start right now. As usual, links will be posted below.

I have been neglecting my skin for a long time and it was really depressing. I had dry and flaky skin and my face had a lot of blemishes. But, since April 2011, I have been investing to a lot of skincare. In fact, most of my purchases are skin care products. And now, I can proudly say that my skin (body & legs) became softer and finer to look at. My boyfriend noticed it. Hehe. As for my face, my skin has less blemishes. It’s not yet clear but I’m working on it. So here are the magical products…

St. Ives Mineral Therapy Body Wash

OMG. I was surprised that this brand do not test on animals. Their products do not contain animal ingredients, parabens and phthalates. I was at the Duty Free’s grocery section and was looking for cruelty free skincare items when I accidentally picked  up this item. I was extremely happy when I saw the text at the back saying it’s cruelty free. YAY! I love this product because it does what it says. It made my feel so smooth and soft. My skin became radiant and look healthy. I use this everyday in the morning. What I also love about this product is that you need a tiny amount to get a creamy consistency. It’s really huge so I guess it will last a really long time.  As I said above, my boyfriend noticed the change and he asked what product I have been using. And I told him about this product. This is around $4-5 dollars. Yes, i bought in USD. 🙂

The next product is from the same company. I hauled some of their products because of  the “cruelty free and paraben free”. I intended to get the Mineral Therapy Lotion but they have stock so I just got this product. After using the body wash, I use this lotion. My skin feels so soft. This is the best combination ever!

St. Ives Hydrating Vitamin E Lotion

I am anticipating that some of you will ask if what is the difference between Hydrating Vitamin E and Mineral Therapy? As I have read at the description, Mineral Therapy regenerates the cell to cure the dry skin, while the Hydrating Vitamin E provides moisture to the skin as it prepares for future dryness. It contains antioxidants.  Therefore, Mineral Therapy is more of a treatment and the Vitamin E is more of a prevention. Please do keep in mind that this is only interpretation. I might be wrong or right. 🙂

The next product is from Zen Zest.

Zen Zest Body Scrub in Raspberry

I use this product as an exfoliator and it works really really great. This stuff does not make your skin feel dry after exfoliating. I use this every week because exfoliating everyday is not healthy for the skin.   After using this, my skin feels so soft and smooth. The smell is just great!  This is an great alternative for The Body Shop Body Scrubs for they are expensive. Plus, it does not test on animals. Yay! But, it contains two kinds of Parabens. Nay! How I wish they would reformulate this because I will be sad if I ran out of this because I pledged to my self not to buy products with Parabens.

The next product is the Marionnaud Face Massager.

This is a must have. I used this everyday for cleansing. It’s not harsh because it has soft bristles. I use this on my face and neck. It’s less that 100 (Php). 😉

VO5 Moisture Milks Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner (Strawberries & Cream)

I am so glad I bought these. They smell so great and makes my hair soft and shiny. The scent lasts all day long. They do not test animals and do not use Parabens. SUPER LOVE THIS PRODUCT! ❤

So, these are my Skincare & Hair Products Favorites for August 2011. I hope you try all of them. I will update this post to link all the products. Watch out for the Part 2. I’ll take to you soon. Bye! 🙂

January and February Favorites!

Hello there again my reader and visitors! I’m back for another favorites post. Next would be my Project 10 Pan round 2 and Lipstick Collection. I am really sorry for not updating this site but I’m always around here checking for comments. So here are my favorite products..

1. Maybelline Make Up Remover

Oh my gosh! This product is AMAZING. I’m not kidding you guys. I use this to remove my waterproof mascara and worked effectively. It is also safe because it is ophthalmologist and dermatology tested. I don’t know if this is safe for face since it is only intended for eyes and lips. I also do not know if this is available in US since I’ve never seen anyone from YouTube who lives in US who talks about this stuff. It says in the bottle that it is made in Indonesia. This 40 ml product costs 99 Pesos (Php).

Sadly, if I ran out I will not purchase this again ever because I pledged to PETA  not to buy products from companies who conducts animal testing. It is known that L’oreal tests on animals and L’oreal owns Maybelline. If you want to know further about this pledge thingy I will make a post regarding this matter. Just ask at the comments section.

2. Organic Wear Pressed Powder
(Translucent Light Organics)

The best powder I’ve ever tried. It so smooth to the skin and it has a matte finish which is really awesome. I could actually feel some heaviness on my face. If you have a dry skin, I suggest using a moisturizer first before applying this one. I also like that the product is 100% organic, even the packaging itself (97% actually because some parts are plastic). It has a mirror at the bottom which is really cool and it  comes with a brush that I sometimes use. I actually bought this at my classmate who had a Christmas vacation at Guam, that’s where she got the Physician’s Formula products. I don’t know where to buy  this stuff here in the Philippines. She sold this for 700 Pesos (Php).

I stopped using this right now because my skin is so dry especially my nose. Ugh. I don’t know what happened. Even a moisturizer could not ease the dryness. I don’t understand why did this happen to me considering that we don’t have winter here in the Philippines.

3. Nichido Eye Shadow (Sea Shell)

I use this to the inner corners of my eyes just to give that awake eyes because I really look tired without under eye concealer. I just feel that I look like a zombie because of under eye dark circles. What I love about this color is that it is pretty much sheer and shimmery which I love for my eyes. I wear this together with my shimmery white eye liner. This single shadow costs 68 Pesos (Php).

4. Nichido Eye Shadow (Raisin Wine)

I have worn this a lot in January as a crease color. It’s super pretty. It gave that deep crease look. Oh my god, I am really horrible at describing. This shade is almost matte finish with some sparkles but cannot be seen in the eyes. I cracked all of my Nichido eye shadows because I accidentally broke them. I’m really careless. Anyways, this shade is really good if you want a more defined and deeper eye look. It makes the eyes stand out. I also got this for 68 Pesos (Php).

5. San San Eyecolor Wave (Golden Seashore)

This is an eyeshadow duo that I use as a blush because it doesn’t look good in my eyes. It gives me that nice glow which I like though this is really shimmery and the gold actually can be seen on the cheeks on a near sight. I don’t know if it is similar to NARS’s Orgasm blush because this is actually a coral shade with golden sparkles. I know summer is not yet here but I really do like it. This is actually  limited edition from the Krisanne Coral Collection which came out in 2009. I don’t know if you can still get this but I still see this at my local HBC store and in sale. I forgot how much this was. I got this on August last year.

6. Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color

(Sweet Pink)

This is a pale matte pinky beige color which is really look  nice on my yellow light skin. I use this for my brow bone as a high light and to town down my sparkly crease color. I love this one so much! I don’t how much this is because I got this as a gift for my 18th birthday which was last year. I also don’t know where to get this here in the Philippines.

7. Nichido Eye Pencil (Bronze Glow)

I love to use this an everyday eyeshadow base. I don’t like this as an eyeliner because it sucks, it smudges insanely. It does not stay on the waterline even just for an hour. I love this because it does not crease on my lid and it is pretty much lasts up to 8 hours. It also tones down my cool toned light pale gold eyeshadow which I use for school. This shade is just perfect for an everyday eyeshadow base. I got this for 80 Pesos (Php). I think. I forgot. LOL.

As for lisptick and gloss, I use the same products since December. That’s all for now and thank you so much for visiting and reading. Please comment below you favorite products as well so I can check them out. I will be posting again really soon. Bye! Have a nice day! 😉

Hello everyone! This is my first post. So, for my first post, I’ll gonna blog about my December favorites. Yay! I hope you reading. Here we go…

Grapebella lip balm by Watsons

Oh my God! I love this product. I just got this last Thursday and as you can see I made a big dent. I’m not kidding you guys. I use this product everyday, before I sleep, after I brush my teeth, after I take a bath. I use it all the time. I am so crazy about this product. I makes my lips feel so soft. The dry skin on my lips was gone and I am so happy. I recommend this to everyone. I got this at Watson and they it is only distributed at Watsons. It’s only Php 89 pesos. I think. I forgot exactly how much this is but it’s 80+.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Natural Beige

This product is really amazing like everybody says. I used this during our student’s night and I had no problems in terms of oiliness of my face. It really does what it claims. I got this for $14 at Duty Free. It’s a bit expensive but totally worth it. It has a medium coverage. It made my skin looked flawless.

Nichido Eyeshadow in Cool Silver

This product is amazing. This is so pigmented for a drugstore product. It’s not chalky and powdery. But, be very careful of this one. They get easily crack. As you can see, mine was cracked. My other Nichido eyeshadows were also cracked. I just repressed them today. By the way, this costs Php 68.

Nichido Eyeshadow in Bronze Eclair

This shadow is so so gorgeous. It can be a lid color, a crease color or a liner. This is absolutely versatile. I’m using as a crease color for gold based eye looks. It’s also so pigmented that you don’t need much. Just a little amount and you’ll get a lot of pigmentation. It’s also Php 68.

Allue Eyeshadow Duo in Pink Fantasy

I use this duo as a blush. As you can see, they incredibly crazy to use as an eyeshadow. I can’t pull this shadows off. They are sheer, but not so sheer and quite shimmery. I love these for my cheeks. I especially love the not pink shade. I just put a little and blend it to the apples of my cheeks and oh my gosh, it is super pretty. It gives my face a pop of pink and it makes me look blooming and youthful. I don’t know how much this was since it a birthday gift. This is exclusively sold at HBC stores. I think HBC is also available at US. Just check it out guys.

Elf Regular & Waterproof Mascara Duo

This duo mascara is fantastic! I only used the regular side because I don’t want yet to use the waterproof. All I can say is that it doesn’t clump and it lengthens my lashes pretty well. It does have a natural looking effect which I love. This costs Php 129. So affordable for 2 mascaras.

Revlon Lip Gloss Palette in Pink Jubilee (Limited Edition)

These are great! They are all pigmented except for my favorite shade. It can be paired up with any lipstick shade. It enhances any color and it gives nice shine and great shimmer. I love this shade so so much! The sad thing is I have to use the entire palette because I had this for a long time. I think it’s November 2009. Gladly, I hit the pan of the 4 glosses.

San San Lipglow Moisture in Pink Berry Margarita (Limited Edition)

This lipstick is perfect! It’s perfect for everyday use. It looks natural on my lips, as if I have not put a lipstick. It gives a youthful look. Sadly, I have to finish this because this will expire July 2011. I need to find a dupe for this one.

So that’s all of my favorites for this December 2010. I hope you enjoyed reading my first post. Please let me know if you want me to post a collective haul. Have a nice day everyone. Bye. 🙂
